Hello Learners

I know this seems simple, but believe me, the complexities of the punctuation rules will grow with each assignment.

• For each assignment, you will see that I address sophomores and juniors. Please follow the appropriate grade.

Assignment One: Define Terms and Complete Task; use the web to search for definitions. Keep assignment in notebook; finished assignments can be used on formative quizzes.

Terms: clause, independent clause, coordinating conjunction, compound sentence.

TASK

• Juniors - Write seven compound sentences about chapter 20 of KR that include the seven coordinating conjunctions (FANBOYS)



• Sophomores - Write seven compound sentences about chapters 25-31 of TKAM that include the seven coordinating conjunctions (FANBOYS)
